PG&E to Install EV Charging Stations Throughout Northern and Central California

The program for PG&E's new EV Charge Network was recently approved by the California Public Utilities Commission. The network will significantly expand access to EV charging stations throughout Northern and Central California over the next three years. By supporting adoption of EVs, the program extends efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the state.

Up to 7,500 EV charging stations will be installed at apartment, condominium complexes and workplaces.  Sites that can install 10 or more charging points are eligible to apply.  There are options for both "PG&E ownership" and "site ownership" of the EV chargers under the program.

Installations began in late 2017, but PG&E is identifying additional applicants now. Spaces will be limited, so join the interest list today.
